Vashon hit the road on 5/7 and headed north to Coupeville on Whidbey Island for their first battle in District playoffs. A win against the Wolves of Coupeville would send them directly to State, while a loss would dictate another qualifying game to be played later in the week. The Pirates lost 4-2.
