Wes starting on the mound makes quick work of Life Christian shutting them down 1,2,3 in the first.
In the bottom of the first Pieterick leads off with a ground-rule double to left field sparking a 5 run inning. Vashon then picks up 2 more in the bottom of the second with Joe Gilmore hitting a sac fly bringing in Hayden followed by Julian Singling to center field to bring in Pieterick.
Top of the third Wes shuts them down 1,2,3 working his curve ball receiving three K's. The bats stay hot in the bottom of the third with doubles hit by Didrickson, Pieterick, Julian and Peter resulting in four more runs.
In the top of the forth Peter gunned down one of the few Life Christian base runners when he tried to steal second.
Vashon continued the onslaught finishing the top of the fifth with a 15-0 lead, winning via 10 run rule.
The pirates got off to a slow start with a slim loss 6-5 but as the weather warms up so do the Vashon bats.
